Move for Hunger

Fact:More than 850,000 people in New Jersey receive food assistance each month. Forty percent of those at risk are children. With times getting tighter these numbers are dramatically increasing.  Thousands in our community need your help.

Many people throw out a good deal of "stuff" when they move.  Unfortunately alot of this "stuff" is food that can be delivered to a family in need. Thats why All Jersey Moving & Storage has teamed up with Move For Hunger to support the Food Bank Network of Somerset County.

Please set aside any unwanted, non perishable food items before your move and All Jersey Moving & Storage will deliver the food to the Food Bank Network of Somerset County.

Furniture Assist

Furniture assist was established to provide furniture, appliances and other household items, free of charge, to families or individuals in need.  Furniture assist takes donations from individuals or organizations that have unwanted items that are still in good useable condition.  This is a great charity that currently furnishes about 30 apartments per week with items that were donated.  The families or individuals receiving the furniture can't contact them directly, its only through an approved social agency so they truly need the furniture opposed to someone that just wants the furniture.  If you have items that you would like to donate here are a few options:

• You can deliver the items directly to Furniture Assist.
• You can schedule a pick-up with Furniture Assist.
•  All Jersey Moving & Storage can take the donated items on moving day.  We will make arrangements thereafter to get the items delivered to Furniture Assist.

In most cases we are more than happy to take your items on moving day but we must be notified in advance as ultimately it depends on our schedule, details of your move and the items that you wish to donate.
