Make certain that it’s your local mover and not a moving broker.  Some moving brokers have websites that give the impression that they have their own men and trucks.  Most brokers operate call centers that award your move to the lowest bidder. You can confirm a company is a NJ licensed mover by visiting NJ Division of Consumer Affairs and confirm a mover is licensed to perform out of state moves by visiting US Department of Transportation.
